Ballet & Bubbles: Introduction to Ballet

Ballet Arizona's Contemporary Council invites you to join them at the Barre! Choose an in-person or virtual experience, and learn the basics from Ballet Arizona dancer, Ethan Price. Ethan will teach basic barre and center combinations, along with class etiquette and terminology. Please note that this class is 90 minutes long, and is geared towards adults and is not recommended for children.

In-Person details:

• A limited number of tickets available
  • Ballet Barre members receive a discount! Contact Natalie Salvione at nsalvione@balletaz.org to secure your spot!
• Guests must properly wear a face mask (over the nose and mouth) at all times in the building and in the classroom (except while eating or drinking)
  • Plastic Face shields are not permitted
• No pointe shoes are required, but ballet shoes or socks are recommended
• After the class, enjoy lite bites, and a glass of prosecco with your fellow classmates, including your choice of strawberry or grapefruit Luxe Sugar Cube from Teaspressa to top off your beverage
• Take home a mini pack of strawberry Luxe Sugar Cubes from local company Teaspressa

Virtual details:

• Once you register, Ballet Arizona will send the Zoom information including the link, meeting ID, and password. Please do not share this information
• For barre, you can use a chair, wall, or countertop to help you balance
• Please be aware of your surroundings when attempting center work
• It is not required to have your video camera on, but it is encouraged if you would like corrections
